Yes!  We love giving our clients personal attention—from art curation to installation to custom window treatments.  In store, you get our expert advice at no charge, but for home or business consultation we charge $85/hour.

Do you offer professional installation?

Yes, Barnel’s offers commercial and residential installation for orders curated in store. All other cases will be evaluated individually. Security hanger installation available for commercial environments.

Do you offer layaway?

Barnel’s offers a three month layaway with 25% down and 25% per month payment plan.

What are your store hours?

9:30 AM – 5:00 PM Monday thru Friday.
Saturdays by appointment.

Do you accept credit cards?

Yes. Both our Lafayette, LA picture framing gallery and our online artwork shopping cart accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover Cards.

What do if I'm having issues with paying by credit card/Pay Pal

Credit Card Issues

If your credit card is being declined during purchase, please try our troubleshooting tips below. If you still experience problems, we advise that you contact your bank or credit card provider and ask for their assistance.

Double-check the information you entered during checkout:

  • Did your billing address change recently?
  • Did you enter the correct CVV code?
  • Did you get a new card with a new expiration date?

About the CVV Code
If using a credit card to purchase a work, you will be asked for the CVV code (i.e. Card Verification Value code). On most credit cards (including Visa, MasterCard, and Discover cards), the CVV is a three-digit number printed to the right of the signature space on the back of the card. On American Express cards, it is the four-digit code located on the front of the card.

Review your bank’s fraud-alert policies.
Your bank may flag any suspicious activity on your account which may include first-time orders or high-value purchases (regardless of the card’s available funds)—especially those made online. Your bank may require you to contact them and authorize the purchase before allowing you to complete the transaction.

Review your bank’s daily withdrawal limit.
Most banks have limits on how much you can charge on your card in a single day. If you reach this limit, your bank may block your account from any further activity for the day regardless of available funds in the account.

 

PayPal Issues

PayPal has various security measures in place to protect their users from fraudulent activity. For this reason, PayPal may occasionally prohibit a buyer from submitting payment. If you’re experiencing issues using your PayPal account, please contact PayPal directly for assistance, or visit their website for troubleshooting information.

Alternatively, you may choose a different payment method. If you’d like assistance, please call us 337-981-5895 between the hours of 9:30 AM – 5:00 PM CST Monday through Friday or email info@barnels.com.

How long will delivery take?

Artwork purchased online usually ships in 7 – 10 business days; Bella Pieroni prints are the exception, shipping takes 4 – 5 weeks.

Do you stretch canvases?

Yes.

Do you install?

Yes, if it is an order produced by Barnel’s. However for larger items we refer to installers.

Can I bring my own art and/or frame?

Yes.

Do you carry art from local artists?

Yes.

Do you carry Audubon prints?

Yes, the decorator series and millennial edition.

Do you frame mirrors?

Yes, we work on the outside dimensions provided, or we can go out and measure. Then, we will take care of ordering the mirror from our vendor or work with the mirror you provided. Finally, we will call when everything is complete.

Do you appraise?

Generally, no. However, if it’s an artist we are familiar with (such as our artists on our website) we’d be happy to take a look.
